If we want to secure our democracy, and make sure it represents Montanans’ best interests, we need to get dark money out of politics. Since the End Citizens United ruling, the prevalence of misinformation and dark money has grown. In order to make sure that people’s voices are being heard over the interests of corporations we need to get money out of politics. We also need to end policies that make it easier for politicians to enrich themselves while in office. Members of Congress should not be allowed to trade stocks while in office.
