Persons convicted of fraud, corruption or violent crimes are ineligible to run for office. Persons who participate in the overthrow or attempted overthrow of an election shall be forever barred from serving at any level of government
I suggest that the first sentence be amended. "Persons convicted of fraud, corruption, financial crimes or violent crimes are ineligible for office."
We have too many criminals and grifters in office. The current president pardoned convicted insurrectionists. These people cannot be trusted with making decisions for the nation.
